Senator Tracy Pennycuick is set to host her 4th Annual Youth Fishing Derby at Camp Wawa Park in Schwenksville. The event will take place on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. This annual gathering aims to encourage outdoor recreation, environmental education, and family involvement.

“I am excited to once again host this annual event, which provides young anglers and their families with an opportunity to enjoy Pennsylvania’s natural resources,” stated Senator Pennycuick. She emphasized the educational aspect of the derby by noting that participants will also learn about Pennsylvania's diverse wildlife and conservation importance.

The fishing derby is open to all young people, with families invited to join. Regardless of experience level, everyone is welcome. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own fishing equipment and bait for a complete experience.
