Senator Tracy Pennycuick and the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) are organizing a virtual event aimed at helping prospective college students understand the new financial aid application process for the 2025-26 academic year. The session is scheduled for December 10, from 6:30 to 7:30 PM, with time allocated afterward for questions. The event is open to all individuals interested in higher education.

Senator Pennycuick expressed her enthusiasm about collaborating with PHEAA, stating, “I’m excited to partner with PHEAA to help students and their families navigate the college application process.” She emphasized that this virtual gathering would offer crucial information on financial aid and college planning.

Senator Wayne Fontana, Chairman of the PHEAA Board of Directors, remarked on the significance of such events by saying, “At PHEAA, we welcome every opportunity to provide guidance to those who dream of pursuing higher education.” He highlighted that their financial aid experts would share valuable insights to assist students and parents in understanding both college planning and financial aid processes.
