Rep. Donna Scheuren (R-Montgomery) has announced that she is hosting a Save a Life Blood Drive in conjunction with Peter Becker Community. The event is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, May 14, from 1-6 p.m. at the Peter Becker Community, located at 800 Maple Ave., Harleysville. The blood drive will be operated by the American Red Cross.

"I want to invite our community out to this blood drive," said Scheuren. "These events help provide a crucial resource to local hospitals. The need for blood is even more important now with the American Red Cross recently declaring an emergency blood shortage. I hope to see many of you there on May 14, and I want to thank Peter Becker Community for co-hosting this event with me."
