Arcadia University issued the following announcement.
The Knight for Nutrition Food Pantry continues to support students experiencing food insecurity in this challenging time from its location in Oak Summit. In order to support the needs of students, the pantry will host a virtual food drive from Monday, Oct. 12 to Friday, Oct. 16.
The pantry is seeking high demand items, including hygiene products like toilet paper and soap. Other items that the pantry needs include: pasta, sauce, boxed dinners, condiments, soups, and canned/cupped fruit.
Donations can be dropped off in the designated boxes at the Castle or in the main entrance way to Oak Summit from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Donations can also be made through the pantry’s Amazon wish list.
The pantry is open on Tuesdays from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Thursdays from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Oak Summit computer lab. Students can come during these times and select items needed while adhering to social distancing regulations.
