Borough of Conshohocken issued the following announcement.
Join the Borough of Conshohocken and the Environmental Advisory Council (EAC) for a free virtual training about the Spotted Lanternfly on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at 7:00 PM. The training will be streamed using the Go-To-Meeting platform.
Presenter: Penn State Extension – Brandon McCracken, Master Watershed Steward will present an “Introduction to the invasive pest, Spotted Lanternfly”
The Spotted Lanternfly is an invasive insect first found in southeastern Pennsylvania. As the population continues to spread outward from the site of initial discover in Pennsylvania, more education is needed to enlist the help of the public in the fight against it.

Because the actual time of the question and comment period is determined by the pace of the training, please submit all questions as soon as possible, whether before or during the training. Written comments should include the submitting person’s name.
