State Senator Tracy Pennycuick | Pennsylvania
Sen. Tracy Pennycuick (R-24) will join the PA Breast Cancer Coalition and several regional YMCAs to launch a month-long informational campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Throughout October, information on understanding risks, early detection, and Pennsylvania’s Act 1 of 2023 will be available at participating YMCAs. These include Upper Perkiomen Valley, Pottstown, Spring Valley (Royersford), and Boyertown.
Act 1 of 2023 provides no-cost breast MRI, ultrasound, genetic testing, and genetic counseling for women at increased risk who are insured under state law.
The event is scheduled for Friday, October 4, 2024, at 9:30 a.m.
