State Rep. Donna Scheuren | Pennsylvania 147th Legislative District
Rep. Donna Scheuren (R-Montgomery) announced today that the Mennonite Historians of Eastern Pennsylvania (MHEP) received an $8,500 grant from the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission (PHMC).
This award is part of the Cultural and Historical Support Grant Program run by the PHMC. The program aims to provide general operating support to museums and official county historical societies across Pennsylvania that are not directly supported by other state agencies. MHEP will allocate this funding towards full-time staff at both their museum and historical library.
"I am thrilled to see the Mennonite Historians of Eastern Pennsylvania receive this grant," said Scheuren. "Not only was the full amount awarded to these dedicated historians, but I know the staff will use this funding to enhance the learning experience for everyone that visits the Mennonite Heritage Center."
