On Wednesday, March 19, former The Hill School standout Derek Volz’s current college team, the Holy Cross Crusaders, lost 8-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UMass Lowell Riverhawks.

The game took place at Edward A. LeLacheur Park. This was their first matchup against the Riverhawks this season.

The Crusaders’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 12 p.m. at J. David Walker Field at Legacy Park against Lehigh Mountain Hawks.
