Ben Franklin Elementary School recently issued the following announcement.
CHERRY STREET RECONSTRUCTION
Update on the Cherry Street reconstruction progress: the old road surface was removed. The base stone is scheduled to be placed this week and next with the scheduled completion for the stone by Friday, July 1. The base course will be prepared for the asphalt installation tentatively the following week. Please use caution in this block. The road will remain closed to traffic during construction.
