Franklin Elementary School issued the following announcement on July 20.
Congratulations to Pottstown High School grads, sisters Keirsten and Alexandra Hickey! They have demonstrated that they learned a lesson that they heard many times while students at PHS, “hard work pays off”. Keirsten is an up and coming junior at Gwynedd Mercy University majoring in occupational therapy. She was named to the spring semester dean's list. Keirsten is also a member of the American Association of University Women, Black Student Union, Pride Alliance and New Student Orientation Program. After graduation she hopes to become a pediatric occupational therapist.
Sister Alexandra is a recent graduate of Temple University with a Bachelors of Psychology degree. She is returning to her home in Pottstown to serve our community as a preschool teacher at the YWCA. We are Trojan Proud of all they have accomplished and know that their hard work will continue to pay off in positive contributions to our community. Thank you for giving us another reason to say Proud to be from Pottstown.
