ARCADIA UNIVERSITY: Dr. Kammerle ’17, ’20DPT Elected As Recent Graduate Trustee

Arcadia University issued the following announcement.

Arcadia University is proud to announce that Dr. Kyle Kammerle ’17, ’20DPT, adjunct professor of Biology at Arcadia University and physical therapist at Willow Grove Physical Therapy, was elected to the University’s Board of Trustees, effective June 1.

A graduate of the Arcadia Class of 2020 Doctor of Physical Therapy program, Dr. Kammerle will serve a two-year term as a recent graduate trustee. A physical therapist at Willow Grove Physical Therapy (PT), adjunct professor of Biology, and Eagles cheerleader, Dr. Kammerle specializes in outpatient treatment for orthopedic, vestibular, and neurological impairments. In addition to seeing patients, Dr. Kammerle is also policy researcher for Willow Grove PT, assisting the clinic in writing a responsive policy to the pandemic.

Dr. Kammerle earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Arcadia University in 2017. As a student, he participated in the University’s pro bono global experience work in Saint Elizabeth Parish, Jamaica, where he worked inpatient neurological rehabilitation. Dr. Kammerle is the recipient of two University awards: John Robinson Award, which is presented to the DPT student for the most outstanding contributions to general morale of students while part of the Physical Therapy program; and the Hines Wright Humanitarian Award, which is presented to the student whose international pro bono service has met the needs of underserved areas, expanded their view of practice, and strengthened their skills as a global citizen.
