On Saturday, March 1, former Spring-Ford Senior High School standout Jake Books’ current college team, the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers, won 6-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights.

The game took place at Springs Brooks Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Scarlet Knights this season.

The Chanticleers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 2 at 11 a.m. at Springs Brooks Stadium against Rutgers Scarlet Knights.
