On Friday, March 28, former Spring-Ford Senior High School standout Jake Books’ current college team, the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers, won 7-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Texas State Bobcats.

The game took place at Bobcat Ballpark. This was their first matchup against the Bobcats this season.

The Chanticleers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 2:30 p.m. at Bobcat Ballpark against Texas State Bobcats.
