On Saturday, March 29, former Spring-Ford Senior High School standout Jake Books’ current college team, the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers, lost 1-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Texas State Bobcats.

The game took place at Bobcat Ballpark. This was their second matchup against the Bobcats this season.

The Chanticleers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 30 at 11 a.m. at Bobcat Ballpark against Texas State Bobcats.
