On Sunday, Feb. 2, former Spring-Ford Senior High School standout Caitlin Ashley’s current college team, the Kutztown Golden Bears, won 8-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Davis & Elkins Senators.

The game took place at Purnell Swett High School. This was their second matchup against the Senators this season.

The Golden Bears’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 11 a.m. at Nancy Chapman Cassell Field against Winston-Salem State Rams.
