Senator Tracy Pennycuick shared updates on her recent engagements with local leaders and community events in Pennsylvania’s 24th District through a series of social media posts this week.
On April 17, Pennycuick highlighted her outreach to municipal officials, writing, “Connecting with local leaders is important to me. This week I hosted three Meet & Greet events for municipal officials across the 24th District. We discussed key challenges and state resources supporting local initiatives.”
Later that day, she posted about a visit to a local eatery: “Lunch at Longacre’s Modern Dairy is always a good idea! There is nothing quite like fueling up with a great meal in the heart of our community.” The post underscores her ongoing efforts to engage with constituents and support area businesses.
On April 18, Pennycuick attended a cultural event at North Penn High School. She wrote, “Fully immersed in the cultures today at North Penn High School! The International Spring Festival is in full swing, from the incredible food to the live performances, there is so much to see!”
Pennycuick’s career includes extensive public service. She served 26 years in the U.S. Army—retiring as a lieutenant colonel after assignments such as Desert Shield/Desert Storm—and has contributed to veteran and law enforcement support through board roles (official website). She began her military service as a combat medic before earning a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1987. Pennycuick was elected to the Pennsylvania Senate in 2022 following prior service in the General Assembly and resides in Harleysville with her husband, also an Army veteran, their four grown children, and two grandchildren.
