Senator Tracy Pennycuick, a Republican representing Pennsylvania’s 24th District and a United States Army combat veteran, hosted her third annual Veterans Appreciation Breakfast on November 15 at the East Greenville Fire Company. The event gathered veterans, their families, and community members to recognize those who have served in the military.
“As a veteran, I am proud to recognize the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of those who have also served,” Senator Pennycuick said. “This breakfast is an opportunity to come together and thank the incredible men and women who have defended our freedoms.”
The program included remarks from U.S. Senator Dave McCormick. He spoke about the shared values among veterans such as service, leadership, and commitment. Attendees were encouraged to read his recent op-ed in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette where he discusses ways to ensure that all veterans receive proper care and respect.
Veterans from different generations and branches of the Armed Forces attended the breakfast. The event provided them with an opportunity for connection and recognition.
Senator Pennycuick emphasized ongoing efforts by her office to support veterans across Pennsylvania. “Our commitment to supporting veterans extends far beyond one morning,” she said. “It is an honor to continue serving those who served.”
