Senator Tracy Pennycuick has announced that her office will hold Outreach Days every Thursday from February 12 through April 9, between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM at the Boyertown Area Multi-Service in Boyertown. The initiative is aimed at helping residents apply for the Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program.

The Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program offers financial assistance to eligible homeowners and renters in Pennsylvania. Older adults and people with disabilities who are 18 years or older may qualify for rebates ranging from $380 to $1,000. Funding for this program comes from the Pennsylvania Lottery and gaming revenue.

“Completing these applications can be confusing, and many residents miss out on rebates they are eligible for,” Senator Pennycuick said. “Providing one-on-one support during Outreach Days ensures residents get the help they need to access this important program.”

Senator Pennycuick represents parts of Berks and Montgomery counties in the Pennsylvania Senate, where she focuses on job growth, veteran support, law enforcement, education improvements, and fiscal responsibility. She leads the Communications and Technology Committee and serves on several other committees related to veterans affairs, drawing on her military background and professional experience. More information about her career can be found on her official website.

Pennycuick served 26 years in the U.S. Army before retiring as a lieutenant colonel after assignments including Desert Shield/Desert Storm. She has also held roles such as director of veterans affairs for Montgomery County and worked as an aviation consultant. In addition to her legislative work, she participates in various boards supporting technology development and veteran organizations.

She was elected to the Pennsylvania Senate in 2022 after previously serving in the General Assembly representing the 147th House District.

Residents interested in applying for the rebate program can attend any of the scheduled Outreach Days at Boyertown Area Multi-Service during the specified period.
