On Saturday, March 22, former Spring-Ford Senior High School standout Jake Books’ current college team, the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers, lost 9-8 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Troy Trojans.

The game took place at Riddle Pace Field. This was their second matchup against the Trojans this season.

The Chanticleers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 23 at 1 p.m. at Riddle Pace Field against Troy Trojans.
