Saturday, Feb. 22: Spring-Ford Senior High School standout Jake Books’ college team wins to Ohio State Buckeyes

On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Spring-Ford Senior High School standout Jake Books’ current college team, the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers, won 10-8 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Ohio State Buckeyes.

The game took place at 121 Financial Ballpark. This was their first matchup against the Buckeyes this season.

The Chanticleers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 3:15 p.m. at 121 Financial Ballpark against North Carolina State Wolfpack.
