Perkiomen alum Ryan Sink competes for Mansfield in NCAA Division II baseball loss

Former Perkiomen School player Ryan Sink took the mound for the Mansfield Mountaineers on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 2:30 p.m., as they were narrowly defeated, 9-8, by the Holy Family Tigers in NCAA Division II baseball action.

FDR Park served as the site for the contest, marking the second time this season the teams clashed. The previous meeting on Saturday, Feb. 28, saw the Mountaineers emerge with a 14-13 victory.

Sink pitched three innings, giving up two earned runs with one walk and a single strikeout.

Next, the Mountaineers will face Holy Family Tigers at FDR Park, with first pitch scheduled for Sunday, March 1, at 11:30 a.m.
