The Senate Majority Policy Committee and the House Republican Policy Committee are set to collaborate on discussions regarding the future of artificial intelligence innovation for Pennsylvania. This joint effort will take place during a public hearing scheduled for April 16, at Astrobotic Technology in Pittsburgh.

The event gathers policymakers and experts to deliberate on the opportunities and challenges that AI presents to the state. Senator Dave Argall, chair of the Senate Majority Policy Committee, highlights the importance of understanding AI to leverage its potential for economic growth. “Artificial intelligence is the future,” Argall stated. “By learning from the experts at the forefront of this emerging industry, we can prepare Pennsylvania to effectively harness this technology and grow our economy.”

The invitation to hold this discussion came from Senator Tracy Pennycuick, who is also chair of the Senate Communications and Technology Committee.
