On Tuesday, March 11, former Spring-Ford Senior High School standout Jake Books’ current college team, the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers, lost 16-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Wake Forest Deacons.

The game took place at Springs Brooks Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Deacons this season.

The Chanticleers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 6 p.m. at Springs Brooks Stadium against Georgia Southern Eagles.
