On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Spring-Ford Senior High School standout Jake Books’ college team won in an NCAA Division I baseball game

On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Spring-Ford Senior High School standout Jake Books’ current college team, the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers, won 10-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the North Carolina State Wolfpack.

The game took place at 121 Financial Ballpark. This was their first matchup against the Wolfpack this season.

The Chanticleers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 4 p.m. at Springs Brooks Stadium against UNC Wilmington Seahawks.
