On Friday, April 11, former Spring-Ford Senior High School standout Jake Books’ current college team, the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers, won 6-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Georgia State Panthers.

The game took place at GSU Baseball Complex. This was their first matchup against the Panthers this season.

The Chanticleers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 2 p.m. at GSU Baseball Complex against Georgia State Panthers.
