Miami RedHawks advance in NCAA Tournament with Brant Byers, former Perkiomen Valley standout

Former Perkiomen Valley High School basketball standout Brant Byers helped lead his collegiate team, the Miami RedHawks, to an 89-79 victory over the SMU Mustangs in the NCAA Tournament on Wednesday, March 18.

The matchup was held at UD Arena and began at 8:10 p.m.

Byers recorded 19 points, four rebounds, an assist and a block over 35 minutes on the court.

The RedHawks will play their next game on Friday, March 20, at 4:25 p.m. at Xfinity Mobile Arena.
