On Sunday, Feb. 9, former Spring-Ford Senior High School standouts Jules Scogna and Morgan Lester’s current college team, the Saint Joseph’s Hawks, won 4-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Mercer Bears.
The game took place at Sikes Field. This was their second matchup against the Bears this season.
The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 4 p.m. at Kamphuis Field at Liberty Softball Stadium against Radford Highlanders.
