Former Perkiomen School player Jaycee Merizalde and the Southern Connecticut State Owls were defeated 61-51 by the Holy Family Tigers in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament on Saturday, March 14.

The matchup, which tipped off at 7:30 p.m. at James Moore Field House, marked the Owls’ first tournament game against the Tigers.
