On Sunday, March 30, former Spring-Ford Senior High School standout Jake Books’ current college team, the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers, won 10-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Texas State Bobcats.

The game took place at Bobcat Ballpark. This was their third matchup against the Bobcats this season.

The Chanticleers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 at 6 p.m. at Springs Brooks Stadium against Campbell Fighting Camels.
