On Monday, Feb. 17, former Spring-Ford Senior High School standout Jake Books’ current college team, the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers, won 9-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Kansas State Wildcats.

The game took place at Springs Brooks Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Wildcats this season.

The Chanticleers’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 19 at 4 p.m. at Springs Brooks Stadium against Charleston Cougars.
