On Friday, March 7, former Spring-Ford Senior High School standout Jake Books’ current college team, the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers, lost 7-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the East Carolina Pirates.

The game took place at Clark–LeClair Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Pirates this season.

The Chanticleers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 2 p.m. at Clark–LeClair Stadium against East Carolina Pirates.
