Rep. Donna Scheuren was sworn in for her second term as the representative of the 147th District, which includes parts of Western Montgomery County. The district covers several townships such as Franconia, Lower and Upper Salford, Lower and Upper Frederick, New Hanover, Douglass, and Upper Pottsgrove.

Scheuren expressed enthusiasm about returning to Harrisburg to represent her district. “I am very excited to be back in Harrisburg representing the 147th for another term,” she stated. She emphasized her commitment to issues like smart budgeting, open space, lower taxes, a business-friendly Commonwealth, rule of law, deregulation, support for first responders, quality education, energy independence, election reform, and constitutional rights.

Before serving as a state representative, Scheuren was active in community roles for over ten years. Her experience includes three terms on the Souderton Area School Board as vice president and finance chairman. Additionally, she served on the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit and Legislative Committee.

Scheuren has also been a manufacturer’s representative in the industrial commodities sector for nearly three decades. Her family owns a construction company that has been operating in Pennsylvania for 36 years.

Her district offices are located at 1885 Swamp Pike in Gilbertsville and 410 Main St. in Harleysville.
