On Saturday, March 7, the Christopher Newport Captains, featuring former The Hill School standout Lily Soller, were defeated 61-55 by the Washington and Lee Generals in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.

The matchup, held at Holekamp Gym at 8 p.m., marked the teams’ first meeting in the tournament.
